Internet gaming shorthand. 'Press F' comes from a much-mocked 2014 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare prompt to pay respects at a funeral, and outlived the game entirely.

Rage games

Getting Over It, QWOP, Flappy Bird, Jump King

Games engineered to make you fail. Getting Over It came with Bennett Foddy narrating philosophy at you while you lost progress, which is somehow worse than silence.

Speedrunning terms

Any%, TAS, PB, Glitchless

Speedrunning terminology. Any% means finishing by any route available; a TAS is a tool-assisted run built frame by frame rather than played live.

Famous cheat codes

IDDQD, Konami Code, Rosebud, Motherlode

Cheat codes specific enough to be trivia. IDDQD is Doom's god mode, Rosebud and Motherlode are the money cheats from The Sims and The Sims 2, and the Konami Code needs no introduction.
